Sask. economic growth downgraded to 2.9% in 2013

Saskatchewan’s real GDP will grow 2.9 per cent in 2013, down from 3.5 per cent as forecast in December, due weaker-than-anticipated capital spending, according to the latest RBC Economics provincial outlook released Tuesday. The provincial economy will, however, benefit from a modest uptick in agricultural output, and a recovery in mining activity, RBC said. via Leader-Post – Business
