Saskatchewan moves ahead of B.C. for first time to become Canada’s fourth-largest exporter

Saskatchewan exporters sold more than $32.6 billion worth of products in 2012 — a record high and a 10.3 per cent increase from 2011 — putting the province in fourth place for exports ahead of B.C. for the first time, according to Statistics Canada. Saskatchewan exports have more than tripled in the last decade. The province is Canada’s largest exporter on a per-capita basis. via Leader-Post – Business
