Saskatchewan small business squeezed by labour shortage: CFIB survey

Saskatchewan small and medium-sized businesses are feeling the effects of the skilled labour shortage more than any other business owners in Western Canada, says a survey released Tuesday by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). In Saskatchewan, 88 per cent of small business owners reported having difficulty finding qualified staff, compared with 79 per cent of western Canadian business owners, while half believe the problem will get worse in future (44 per cent in Western Canada). via Leader-Post – Business http://www.leaderpost.com/business/Saskatchewan+small+business+squeezed+labour+shortage+CFIB+survey/8284521/story.html

  • “In Saskatchewan, 88 per cent of small business owners reported having difficulty finding qualified staff”. There are plenty of jobs in the small business sector right here in Southwest Saskatchewan.
