Museum Meeting On All Month
The Swift Current Museum has some very interesting projects currently on the go right now.
History by the Pint happens every third Wednesday of each month 5:30 PM to 730 PM.
“We do it as licensed so you can get a glass of wine or you can have a beer and there is a local history lecture,” said Rachel Wormsbecher with the museum. “This last one was about the history of flight in Swift Current and airplanes and Smith Airways and all that and the one before that was about horse plant.”
There are also two other programs currently running at the museum. One is Coffee Row which runs the last Wednesday of the month.
“That is completely free. It starts at ten o’clock and we have coffee and we have cookies,” added Wormsbecher. “It is not a presentation as much as it is generally a chat. It is a chance for us at the museum to learn more about things that people in the community know a lot about.”
The Lunch n’ Learn goes on the second Wednesday of the month and goes at noon
