Get Ready to Shake the Lake
Coming up this weekend is one of the biggest events in the southwest.
The annual outdoor cabaret, Shake the Lake goes this Saturday at Lac Pelletier Regional Park with music from country/rock band Third Degree Birnz.
Solange Godenir is one of the organizers of Shake the Lake, and said this is their fourth year, and every year there is a great turnout, and great feedback.
“It just grows every year,” Godenier said, “every year we seem to get a bigger, better crowd, and we’ve had some great support.”
She also said there will be no tolerance for drinking and driving, so there will be plenty of room to stay.
“We do have free camping on the ball diamond below, so people can stay down there and have a good time and not worry about having to drive home.”
Tickets are $30 at the door, and it’s located at the Corral at the lake, there will be signs indicating where to go if you’re unsure, gates open at 9:30pm, with the band starting at 10:00pm, and playing until 1:30am.”
Just a reminder, you will not be allowed in without photo ID, and there is no ATM at the event.
