Prices rise 1.5% in September
Consumer prices in Saskatchewan increased 1.5 per cent on year-over-year basis in September, following a 1.2 per cent rise in August, Statistics Canada said Friday. The larger gain in September was led by prices for passenger vehicles, which advanced 2.8 per cent in the 12 months to September, after declining 0.1 per cent in the previous month, the federal agency said.
