Spending slows in Saskatchewan and country

Saskatchewan spends more on health care per person than the national average, but significantly less than most provinces as a percentage of its total budget. “In the last couple of years in Saskatchewan, and we’ve seen this trend nationally, there is a slowing down in the growth of health spending,” said Chris Kuchciak, manager of health expenditures with the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).
