Teacher Staff Appreciation Celebrated This Week
This week, Chinook School Division celebrates Teacher Staff Appreciation Week February 9th to the 15th.
This year’s theme is ‘Pioneering the Future’ to highlight the pioneering aspect of teaching.
To thank teachers and staff for their caring service and dedication, the Chinook School Division Board is purchasing treats for the staff in all division locations to celebrate and acknowledge all the work they’ve done throughout the year.
Communications Coordinator Joanne Booth voiced their appreciation, saying, “It is essential that they have the ongoing support and involvement of the community and school board. Working with students directly and in support roles, they ensure that the school day is safe, engaging, and filled with great learning experiences.”
Always looking after our students’ well being, teachers and staff often go over and above.
“All of our Chinook teachers and staff work very hard, making sure that we have a good positive learning environment for our students. They do many things from coaching and extra-curricular to just spending a lot of time and effort in planning and communicating with parents. It’s very important so the Board wanted to recognize them during this Teacher Staff Appreciation Week.”
In Southwest Saskatchewan, the Board understands that we have an extraordinary team committed to the development of our children.
All this week, they invite the public to thank teachers and staff as part of Teacher Staff Appreciation Week.
