Wall Argues for Keystone XL on Twitter
Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall took to Twitter over the weekend to support Keystone XL following news the US government will further delay its decision on the pipeline.
Wall said in one tweet that without the pipeline, there will be more oil shipped by rail, adding that will mean fewer rail cars for grain and potash.
Wall said in another tweet that in 2013, more crude spilled in railway incidents than in the previous 37 years combined.
Keystone XL, which is being proposed by Calgary-based TransCanada Corporation, is expected to route through the southwest and into the Shaunavon area.
