The Gull Lake Tourism Committee has been working on a self guided Heritage Walking Tour over the past few months, and it is almost complete. Committee member Craig Baird has been heading up the research for the tour, and the signs were created by TZ Stickers. The tour will consist of 26 buildings that are an important part of our heritage.
Pamphlets of the tour will be available to tourists in the campground, motels, and some local businesses. The walking tour will also allow visitors to download an audio tour guide, who will elaborate on the history of the places they visit. The tour will be of interest to both local residents and tourists alike. The Self Guided Heritage Walking Tour is expected to begin in July.
