Sasktel and Innovation Credit Union Partner To Enhance Customer Service

Sasktel and Swift Current’s Innovation Credit Union have announced a new partnership called the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in a cross-promotional effort to enhance customer experience.
The two organizations sat down and discovered some common ground and wishes to find better ways to help customers outside urban centres.
We spoke with Tara Tibeau, Sasktel’s External Communications Manager about the new partnership.
“Yeah, we just recently formed a partnership with them which we just sort of formalized with a Memorandum of Understanding. And it’s really a strategic sort of partnership in order to see how we can best supplement each other for each other’s customers,” said Tibeau. “We knew we had a lot of things that we were both working towards that we thought we could help each other out with. Even just knowing for our strategic future where we’re trying to go and them as well, we can start planning towards those things.”
The plans within the deal aim to expand services for electronic banking with a special focus with online interface.
“More people move to online banking and services like that, we are an ISP provider so we do have a lot of services to offer,” Tibeau said.
With the deal still freshly signed and filed there will be more developments with this story in the following months as more is revealed.
