This Holiday Monday Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park is celebrating the long weekend.
Katrina Pouteaux is the Park interpreter and says there is a lot to see and do at the Park this time of year, “The lake is lots of fun if you like fishing, boating, tubing, we have some really great hiking trails, where you can see a lot of the natural aspects of park; lot of historic aspects of the park so many stories to discover. The Goodwin House is always a good place to visit.”
In addition to those activities they will be having a bike parade around the campground to show off their Saskatchewan Pride today.
“We are asking people to bring their bikes to the Amphitheatre and decorate it, we will be providing some materials you can feel free to bring your own. Once all the bikes are decorated we will be going on a parade to show off our Saskatchewan Pride for the campground, then we will be giving out prizes to the creative or most colourful.” explained Paouteaux.
Cake will be served at 4pm to celebrate the holiday as well.
