Today was an exciting day in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan as the community received its brand new handi-van. The new van replaces an existing 1983 model and features a modern lift to enhance the safety of the passengers and their caregivers. It will be used by staff and family members to take residents of the Gull Lake Special Care Centre and the Autumn House Personal Care Home on medical appointments and for much needed outings.
Funds to purchase the new $80,000+ van were raised from the local community, family members, the Gull Lake Van Inc., the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation and Telemiracle!
Congratulations and thank you to Gull Lake and Telemiracle on this great community effort!
