It’s time once again to host the Annual General Meeting of the Cypress Hills Destination Area.The meeting goes March 23 at the C.M. Glascock Building (222 Jasper Street), Maple Creek.
Following is the agenda the CHDA administrator have planned to not only provide you with an opportunity for professional development, but to connect you with other quality businesses and organizations like yourself who are passionate about representing the Cypress Hills Destination Area in a way that brings more visitors and more successful businesses.
The agenda for the evening is as follows:
7 p.m. – Greetings by Board Chair Royce Pettyjohn;
7:10 p.m. – Keynote Speaker Christine Ciona – Bringing Joy Into Your Business;
8 p.m. – Canada Eh? Presentation;
8:10 p.m. – Appetizers and Networking;
8:30 p.m. – Annual General Meeting and Executive Director’s Report;
9 p.m. – Closing Comments.
Over the past year, the Board of Directors of the CHDA has spent hours creating the framework for which the organization is now based by creating our By-Laws, which are now ready to be approved and put into place by you our members. You can read them in advance of their approval at the AGM by clicking on each of their titles.
Just as important as the presentations and the business at hand is the opportunity the AGM presents to touchbase and network with other businesses and organizations who are focused like you on bringing more people into this wonderful area we live, work and play in. Enjoy some appetizers and refreshments as you wander the room and meet those who might be interested in teaming up, brainstorming and working with you to create one-of-a-kind visitor experiences.
