Seeding starting in Saskatchewan

Sign of spring in Saskatchewan — warm days, migrating birds and the ministry of agriculture’s first crop report of the year. Released Thursday morning, it shows that only two per cent of the 2015 crop is in the ground. That’s a small proportion, but still ahead of the five-year (2010-2014) average for this time of year, which is less than one per cent.
