Street Paving in Full Swing

Mobile Paving is busy this week continuing with this year’s street paving.  In addition, to the installing concrete Curb and Gutter installed along two blocks of 3rd Street crews are paving on 3rd street from Rutland Avenue to Lake Avenue and doing a repair on 2nd street between Queens Avenue and Lake Avenue.  In addition to the planned paving project, Council has approved a number of other repairs on the following streets:

  • 100 Block of First Street
  • Intersection of Howard Avenue and Main Street
  • 4400 Block of Price Avenue
  • 9400 Block of Rodger Aldag
  • 2300 Block of Proton Avenue
  • 7200 Block of Lake Avenue
  • Gull Lake Recreation Complex Parking Lot
  • 6th Street by the Emergency Services Hall

The Town Crew will also be working over the next couple of days filling potholes.  The cost for this year’s paving project and all street repairs including repairs done on streets in the industrial will be approximately $450,000.
