Sask. salaries to increase 2.7% in 2016: Hay Group

Saskatchewan workers should enjoy the highest average salary increase in the country next year, but our lead over other provinces is getting smaller and may be fleeting, according to the Hay Group. Base salaries across the province are expected to increase by 2.7 per cent in 2016, compared to the national average increase of 2.4 per cent. Saskatoon residents should expect to see a 2.5 per cent pay hike, while Reginans can anticipate a 2.6 per cent jump, the survey said Wednesday.
