Winterfest 2016 is happening on February 20th with plenty of activities and fun for everyone!!
Schedule of Events
Pancake Breakfast 9AM – 12 PM
Will be prepared by the Gull Lake Elks at the Gull Lake Community Hall. Come out for our annual breakfast (Cost: $7/plate).
Street Hockey 10am-12pm
The annual Street Hockey event will take place at Little Green on the Prairie.
Craft Table 11am-1pm
The Kreative Kidz Early Learning Centre will be running the craft table in Gull Lake Community Hall.
Cookie Decorating 12pm-2pm
Cookie decorating will take place in Gull Lake Community Hall.
Lunch Vendors 12pm-3pm
Pie Eating Contest 1pm
The first 10 people to sign up will be entered as competitor–sign up starts at 9am!
Scavenger Hunt 1:30pm
Starts at Little Green on the Prairie and will stay in the general area of the rink, curling rink and school. Teams of 4.
Crokinole, Whist, Crib and Chase the Ace 2pm-4pm
Will be hosted by the Gull Lake Seniors in the meeting room (small hall) of Gull Lake Community Hall.
Mini-Golf at Kinette Corner Mini-Golf 2pm-5pm
At the Kinette Corner Mini-Golf in Little Green on the Prairie.
Crashed Ice at Gull Lake Skating Rink 3pm-3:45pm

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Gull Lake Winterfest 2016 Crashed Ice champ? Come on out on February 20, 2016 and show us your speed and agility skills!
The exciting, on-ice obstacle course starts at 3:00pm at Gull Lake Skating Rink. There is no cost to participants, and all ages and abilities are welcome to jump over, slide under and skate around the obstacles! Registrations will be accepted right up until Crashed Ice starts, but pre-register here to be entered into a prize draw.
Full hockey equipment is necessary for all participants. Contact Sara with questions: (306) 672-4449.
Puck Toss 3:45pm
At Gull Lake Skating Rink.
Brownie bake-off 4pm-5pm
Will be in the Gull Lake Community Hall. If you have a to-die-for brownie recipe, enter to claim the title of Brownie Bake-Off Champ and 2 tickets to a draw of the Ford World Women’s Curling Championships! You can also cast your vote for the best brownies–show up at the hall at 4 to taste the competitors’ chocolatey treats!
Beef-on-a-Bun supper 5pm-7pm
Held in the at Gull Lake Community Hall (Cost: $10/plate).
Bonfire and S’mores 6pm-8pm
Just outside Gull Lake Community Hall.
THE BEST FIREWORKS SHOW IN SW SASKATCHEWAN!!! 8pm
50/50 tickets and tombola table available from 9am to 7pm
Both draws to be made at 7pm.
