Gull Lake Museum Improvements Taking Place this Year

Gull Lake Museum Improvements Taking Place this Year GULL LAKE Tourism Mayor's Report Gull Lake Museum Community

The Gull Lake Tourism Committee is planning to reorganize some of the displays at the Museum. Some displays in the Main Building will be reorganized to improve the look and feel of the museum for visitors. The Shop will also see some changes with addition of the printing press donated by the Gull Lake Advance.

It has been increasingly harder for the committee to find volunteers to help with the staffing of the museum. To help address this problem the committee applied for and received a grant to help employ a summer student. The student will be able to help with the reorganizing of the Museum and allow for improved hours of operation. Starting this summer the Museum will be open Monday to Friday 1 PM to 6 PM and Weekends from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Our Museum holds important information and artifacts from our past and holds a prominent place in our community. Thanks to the efforts of the Tourism Committee the museum will have a new look and improved hours for visitors.
