Southwest Sask Connect launches in Swift Current Wednesday morning

The Southwest Regional Intersectoral Committee (RIC) is excited to launch, a website that a powerful new way to sift through resources and programs offered across Southwest Saskatchewan making it easier for individuals, communities, and professionals to access information, programs and services.

The Southwest Regional Intersectoral Committee (RIC) is one of ten multi-jurisdictional committees located throughout the province. The Southwest RIC includes senior administrators and decision makers from  Chinook School Division, Cypress Health Region, Great Plains College, Holy Trinity School Division, Ministry of Social Services, Ministry of Justice, RCMP and United Way.  The RIC’s mission is to work in partnership with community agencies to coordinate connections and assist in the navigation of services that meet the diverse needs of vulnerable children, youth and their families. The Southwest RIC is particularly interested in addressing gaps and barriers to accessing services, while highlighting the strong and effective programs and services already in place regionally and locally. aims to empower people and professionals to be informed about upcoming event and increase awareness about services offered in your community, while providing direct access to referrals forms and information.
