The Cypress Health Region is continuing to look at ways to reduce the wait times for people visiting the emergency room at the Cypress Regional Hospital.

Cypress Health CEO Beth Vachon highlighted the ongoing efforts by staff during a regular Cypress Regional Health Authority meeting, Sept. 14.
One of the provincial health-care goals is to reduce wait times in emergency departments. During the summer a group of staff from the Cypress Health Region visited the new Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, which has been built in accordance with Lean principles and methodology, to look at the operation of the emergency department in that facility…
