Gull Lake Now a Community in Bloom - SwiftCurrentOnline.com GULL LAKE Town Beautification  Community Communities in Bloom

The town of Gull Lake was one of three provincial communities to be awarded this year’s Saskatchewan Communities in Bloom.

Gull Lake was the winner in the population category of 501-1000, while also received a special mention for their community involvement.

Something the Mayor of Gull Lake Blake Campbell believes is vital in small towns.

“You have all kinds of volunteers because that what helps keep the community going. You take a look at this last year (with all) the volunteers helping out on a lot of different fronts, I know we had our new track up at the school and football field they helped lay the sod, and volunteers that helped with the xeriscape garden,” he said….
