Gull Lake Tourism Committee Receives Two New Members

Town Council approved the appointments of Rachel Harvey and Feona Brodie-Sorenson to the Gull Lake Tourism Committee at the last regular meeting of council. The committee is charged with the responsibility to promote the development and performance of Tourism for the Town of Gull Lake. The committee also oversees the operation of the Gull Lake Museum and Campground.

Current Members of the Tourism Committee are as follows:

Peggy Willman (Chairperson)
Feona Brodie-Sorenson (Vice Chairperson)
Betsy Coonie (Secretary)
Alice Buck
Steve Haithwaite
Ed Lowenberger
Richard Mead
Tim Temoshawsky
Derrick Wiebe

This year the Gull Lake Tourism Committee is sponsoring the Professional Snow Sculptor at the Gull Lake Winterfest Event. The Committee is also working with other community organizations to plan a Canada 150 Celebration to be held in August 2017.
