New Generator Installed at the Gull Lake Emergency Services Hall
The Gull Lake Emergency Services Hall received an important upgrade today with the installation of a brand-new generator. The natural-gas generator was purchased by the Gull Lake Fire Board at a cost of approximately $10,000.00. It will efficiently provide the hall with emergency backup power during power outages.
The generator will ensure heat will be maintained inside the building during any prolonged power outages in the winter. This will ensure emergency vehicles housed within the building will be kept warm, and ready to respond to calls when needed. The Emergency Measures Organization will have a functional facility to operate out of during power failures to coordinate large-scale emergencies.
Backup power will greatly benefit our Fire, EMS, and EMO personnel operations during power outages.
