Water Plant Repairs Underway Next Week

An unexpected leak developed in the 6-inch line that transports water from the north well to the water plant. The line leak is at the water plant and will require a portion of the line and a valve to be replaced. The repair will be completed by Municipal Utilities next week and will cost $46,704.90.

Currently, the north line has been shut down, and we are drawing water from the 5-mile dam south of town. Once repairs have been completed, we will resume drawing water from the north well.
