FALSE ALARM POLICY: Town of Gull Lake, R.M. of Gull Lake, R.M. of Carmichael, R.M. of Webb

A false alarm is any incident in which fire personnel are paged or respond to a fire alarm system or security alarm system that is activated by mistake or as a result of a malfunction. False alarm fees are charged to the property owner and fees will be charged as follows:

– First False Alarm in a calendar year – No Charge – Warning letter issued to the property owner with instructions to contact the security system provider

– Second False Alarm in a calendar year – No Charge – Warning letter hand-delivered by Fire Chief

– Third False Alarm in a calendar year – $400.00
