Chinook School Division reports increase in overall math scores
The overall math scores for Grade 3, 6 and 9 students in Chinook School Division improved to the highest level ever recorded since the start of the Math Momentum initiative in 2011. Curriculum Coordinator Ed Varjassy presented the results from the most recent assessment of math scores at a regular Chinook School Division board meeting, Sept. 10. “I am fairly pleased with where we’re at,” he said after the meeting. “We are as high as we’ve been ever in terms of our scores in math with our assessment.
