Post Categories

As some of you may have heard, Gull Lake was recently awarded Saskatchewan Hockey Association’s HOCKEY DAY IN SASKATCHEWAN!

The organizing committee is taking this awesome opportunity one step further and putting on an entire week’s worth of events, including a 3-on-3 tournament, an alumni game, AAA and SJHL games, sledge hockey and SO. MUCH. MORE.

In order for this week to be the massive success we know it can be, we are looking for community volunteers. If you would be interested in being part of a super fun week and want to volunteer on any of the following subcommittees, please let me know!

-Food: booth, pancake breakfasts, team meals, midnight lunches, etc.

-Media: social media, advertising, print media, programs, etc.

-Friday Evening: banquet, auction, keynote speaker, cabaret, etc.

-Minor Hockey: games, music, 3-on-3 tourney, alumni game, activities, etc.

-Hockey Games: bus parking, welcome, dressing rooms, etc.

-Arena: team swag, signage, music, pucks, etc.

-Saturday Night: beer gardens, entertainment, etc.

All of these subcommittees are headed by an organizing committee member. They will get in touch with you and divvy out tasks as needed.

If you have any questions contact Sara (306) 672-4449.

We are so looking forward to our community coming together to make Hockey Week in Gull Lake a week to remember!
