Gull Lake Lyceum Theatre to be Featured in Access Communications Short Film

On Wednesday afternoon producer Greg Stanton and host, Janine Alexander came to the Lyceum Theatre to film a half-hour show for Access Communication. Les Potter whose family ran the theatre years ago provided the host with the history of the theatre. I spoke about the current theatre operations and the significant role the theatre plays in the community. I also spoke about the important role our volunteers play in the operations of the theatre. The filming concluded with a tour of the projector room and filming of the concession area. For those of you, who have cable TV, the show will air in a few months on channel 7.

Greg and Janine were very impressed how clean the theatre is and how well decorated it is for Christmas. Unfortunately, theatre manager Wendy Klein was unable to participate in the film. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Wendy, her relief managers, and volunteers for all they do to make the Gull Lake Lyceum Theatre truly great.
