Recreation Advisory Committee Awards $8,500.00 in Grants

This year the Gull Lake Recreation Advisory Committee awarded $8,500.00 in grants. Grants this year were awarded to program-based projects. The following organizations received grants:

Autumn House: $250.00 for funding activities.
Gull Lake Curling Club: $1,000.00 for Junior Curling and Friday night 2 on 2 curling.
Gull Lake Library: $2,000.00 for hosting programs.
Gull Lake School Community Council: $2,000.00 for their program, “Building Communities Together”.
Gull Lake Skating Rink: $1,000.00 for Public Skating and Shinny.
Kids in the Kitchen: $1,500.00 for Kitchen Program.
Kreative Kids Early Learning Centre: $250.00 for Kreative Kids Krafts.
Meadowdale Golf Course: $250.00 for Solar Project and League golfing
Zero Gravity Gymnastics: $250.00 for Zero Gravity Coaches.

Recreation Advisory Committee grants help preserve and promote sport, culture, and recreation in Gull Lake and area. Non-profit organizations with eligible program based projects can apply for grant funding in the fall. Applications are available at the Recreation Office or can be downloaded from our website (a link will be provided on our website in September 2019).
