Fire Chief Bentley Gibson received the Municipalities of Saskatchewan Meritorious Award in Regina at the Presidents Banquet. The award recognizes recipients with more than 20 years of service and recognizes their success, dedication, and involvement in their local communities. Bentley has been with the Fire Department for 38 years (30 years as Fire Chief).

Town Council commends Chief Gibson for his many years of service and dedication to our community. He has done a commendable job ensuring our community has well-trained firefighters and equipment. We are very fortunate to have the Fire Department we have today thanks to Chief Gibson and our dedicated volunteer firefighters.
