Ball Diamonds Closed Until Further Notice

As we work together to keep the COVID-19 curve flat residents are reminded that all recreational facilities including the Ball Diamonds are closed. The closure of recreation facilities was ordered by the government to help prevent the spread of the virus. Town Council is monitoring the progress of the re-opening plan closely and will reopen facilities once the Provincial Government gives consent. Recreation facilities are in Phase Three of the plan, and as of yet no date has been assigned to this phase

Saskatchewan is doing a good job managing the COVID-19 pandemic and soon will start to open. To help the plan succeed we all need to do our best to keep social distancing. You may be considering forming an extended household. Below is the Government of Saskatchewan measures you need to consider when forming an extended household:

Saskatchewan residents should be aware that the public health order limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people remains in place.

However, with extreme caution and under the following conditions, one or two close families may form an extended household group:

Families or friends must remain consistent. Do not visit different families or friends every day.

If you are going to create an extended household group, consider if any member of the group has any chronic health conditions that would put them at greater risk, or if they are in close contact with someone who could be vulnerable.

Gatherings must still follow the public health order and be no more than 10 people.

Stay home if you are ill.

Maintain physical distancing where possible.

Town Council very much appreciates your patience and understanding in these difficult times.
