Campground Summer Employment Opportunity

The Town Council has given the Tourism Committee permission to re-open the campground for the remainder of the 2020 season. The original decision to keep the campground closed was made after provincial restrictions limited occupancy to fifty percent and bathrooms were to remain closed. Both of those restrictions have now been lifted and the committee is looking to employ a campground attendant.

Campground Attendant duties include: monitoring campground, collecting fees, cleaning washrooms minimum 3 times a day, maintenance of the grounds, repair of campground, facilities & equipment as needed. The attendant will also be responsible to put up any required Covid-19 signage information where needed in the campground.
Salary is 40% of campsites fees & typically averages $10,000 to $15,000 per season (May long weekend to September 30).
