New Signs Installed Promoting Gull Lake Businesses

Highway traffic coming into town from Highway 37 south will see a new sign promoting the types of businesses in downtown Gull Lake. Traffic leaving town will see a “Thanks for Visiting” sign. The signs are installed near the four way stop at Proton Avenue and Second Street.

The Economic Development Committee helped design the signs and made a recommendation to Town Council to have the signs installed. Council approved the design and recommendation submitted by the EDC and the signs were installed last week. The EDC also has plans to have additional signage at one other location in town.

This week the EDC held a well-attended market at the Last Chance Bar and Grill parking lot. Presently, Lindsay Aliban (Economic Development Officer) is working with local businesses helping them with marketing and promoting their businesses.
