Gull Lake Winterfest Event
The Gull Lake Winterfest Event is set to take place Saturday, February 18th, 2017. The Event will kick off with a pancake brunch in the morning at 9am in the Community Hall. Come out and enjoy a full day of indoor and outdoor family fun, winter-themed activities for the whole family. Admission is free to all events.

Saturday, February 18, 2017
Professional Snow Sculptors (Weather Permitting). FREE ALL DAY EVENT!!
Will be snow sculpting at Little Green on the Prairie Park
Gull Lake Tourism Committee.
Snow Luge and Tobogganing (Weather Permitting) FREE ALL DAY EVENT!!
Will be located outside of the Community Hall (CANCELLED DUE TO WARM WEATHER)
The Tombola Table will be in the Gull Lake Community Hall.
Pancake Breakfast 9AM – 12 PM
Will be prepared by the Gull Lake Elks at the Gull Lake Community Hall. Come out for our annual breakfast (Adult $7/plate and Preschool $5/plate).
Street Hockey FREE EVENT 10am-12pm
The annual Street Hockey event will take place at Little Green on the Prairie.
Mini Trade Show 10am to 3pm
The Mini Trade Show will run from 10am to 3pm. If you would like to book a table contact Sara at (306) 672-4449.

Crafts & Face Painting 11am-1pm
The Crafts & Face Painting will be in the Gull Lake Community Hall.
Lunch Vendors 12pm-3pm
Gull Lake dancers, and Guang Dong Palace, will be serving various dishes in the back of the big hall
SW SASKATCHEWAN’S BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE COMPETITION FREE EVENT 12pm to 12:30pm
Bring a batch of your fan favorites to the hall by 11 am on Saturday, Feb. 18 to be entered in the quest to be named SW Sask’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Baker!
Decided by a panel of esteemed judges, the winner will usurp Bethany Mittelholtz as the Winterfest baking queen (her brownies took first place at Winterfest 2016), will earn bragging rights until Winterfest 2018, and will be awarded a fabulous prize.
No need to preregister–just show up at Winterfest with your A-game cookies to become a contestant.
The SW SASKATCHEWAN’S BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE COMPETITION will be running the craft table in Gull Lake Community Hall.
Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides FREE EVENT 12pm to 2pm
Pickup will be in front of the Gull Lake Recreation Complex
Cookie Decorating 12pm-2pm
Cookie decorating will take place in Gull Lake Community Hall.
Amazing Race FREE EVENT 1pm to 3:00pm
If you play along with The Amazing Race while watching, here’s your chance to try your hand at it in real life! The Amazing Race Gull Lake is a new addition to …Winterfest this year.
Contestants will complete challenges throughout the town, and the first team to cross the finish line will be named The Amazing Race champs.
Pre-register your team of 4 with me to claim your spot. There is a max of 10 teams allowed, and all participants must be at least 12 years old.

The first 12 people to sign up will be entered as competitor–sign up starts at 9am!

Will be hosted by the Gull Lake Seniors in the meeting room (small hall) of Gull Lake Community Hall.
Children’s Entertainer Keegan Duck FREE EVENT 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Children’s Entertainer Keegan Duck will entertain everyone be in Gull Lake Community Hall.
Beef-on-a-Bun supper 5pm-7pm
Held in the at Gull Lake Community Hall (Cost: Adult $10/plate, 8 and under $8, and Preschool $5/plate).
Bonfire and S’mores FREE EVENT 6pm-8pm
Just outside Gull Lake Community Hall.
THE BEST FIREWORKS SHOW IN SW SASKATCHEWAN!!! FREE EVENT 8pm
50/50 tickets and tombola table available from 9am to 7pm
