Cypress Hills Destination Area Long Table Dinner

The Harvest Eatery and Fresh Market, the Pioneer Hall, Pattison Agriculture and the Cypress Hills Destination Area have partnered up to bring you a one-of-a-kind dining experience! Located between the Town of Gull Lake and the Town of Shaunavon in the heart of Saskatchewan’s farming and ranching communities, this Harvest Celebration will allow you to revel in the sights and the sounds of Saskatchewan’s Harvest. Be one of only 100 ticket holders who get to experience this unforgettable event.

Park your cars and make your way past the towering combines and harvest equipment that dots the landscape. Allow the surroundings to transport you through time to the days of the pioneers when celebrating the harvest was a community celebration.

Enjoy a taste of the bounty of Saskatchewan in the beverage sense when you are greeted with a tasting provided by a local home grown craft brewer.

Then sit back and wait for a culinary extravaganza prepared by the 2016 Regina Gold Medal Plate winner, Chef Garrett “Rusty” Thienes, of Shaunavon’s Harvest Eatery and Fresh Market.  Your taste buds will explode with the flavours of four courses all served with Saskatchewan’s incredible living skies as the backdrop, as images from years gone by float through the evening air.

Enjoy the entertainment of live music complete with a dance floor as the cool, fall evening air surrounds you, while our photographer captures all of the evening’s most memorable moments, including a complimentary portrait of you and your entourage as a keepsake of your experience.

Gull Lake Campground Wi-Fi Installation Underway and Monthly Camping Rate Established

Campers will soon have access to free Wi-Fi in the Gull Lake Campground. Sasktel installed the Internet service to the campground last week. This week the Town Crew is assisting Dwayne Lavoie with the installation of the equipment needed to broadcast the internet signal around the campground. If all goes well the service should be up and running by sometime next week.

The Gull Lake Tourism Committee has also approved a monthly camping rate of $650.00 for electric/water sites. The campground rate has been established in response to an increased in the number of long-term site requests.

The Gull Lake Campground is a great place to stay whether you are traveling through the Cypress Hills Destination Area or working in the area. For more information or to book a site see our Campground Webpage.
